​​​​​​​​​​At HUB 365, we believe strong communities are built on compassion, connection, and action. Rooted in the heart of the greater Boise area, we are a community-driven, nonprofit — dedicated to meeting the needs of our underserved neighbors.

 

Whether it's providing access to healthy food, offering essential resources, supporting families in crisis, or creating opportunities for personal growth, our mission remains clear: to be a place of hope, belonging, and transformation.  Every program, every outreach, and every service we offer is fueled by the belief that everyone deserves dignity, opportunity, and a supportive community.

 

But HUB 365’s story didn’t begin with a plan — it began with a moment.

When COVID-19 struck in March 2020,

uncertainty and isolation swept through our

neighborhoods.  A small group of friends

and I gathered donated goods and

decided to hold an outdoor parking lot sale. 

Unsure if anyone would even show up,

we posted on Craigslist and Facebook

Marketplace.  To our surprise, people

came.  Some even stayed, setting up lawn

chairs and spending the day with us.

It was more than a sale; it was the start of

something bigger.

 

In a simple, unforgettable moment, a

woman handed me a can of beans and

asked, Do you know anyone who could use this?  I turned and offered it to a nearby man.  The look of gratitude on his face said everything.
 

Right then, I realized — people weren't just searching for goods.  They were searching for connection, for hope, for community.

 

Our fundraiser quickly transformed into an outreach.  What began as a small parking lot gathering evolved into a dream; a place where everyone could find belonging, meet immediate needs, feel seen and valued — every day of the year.

 

My name is Jill Cornforth, and that dream became HUB 365.

 

With the support of my husband, Fred Cornforth — then CEO of Community Development Inc. (CDI), a company already dedicated to funding food pantries across Idaho colleges and building orphanages worldwide – HUB 365 found the backing it needed.  I sketched the vision for what our HUB365 building could become.   CDI embraced our mission to become a light in our community.  They were instrumental in helping turn that dream into a permanent reality.

 

In October 2023, HUB 365 officially opened its doors.

 

Today, HUB 365 is home to:

• A thriving thrift store

• A large, fully stocked food pantry

• THE COMMONS, a welcoming space where we hold a variety of community programs to educate, uplift, and empower
   

At the heart of it all are our volunteers.  HUB 365 is 100% volunteer-driven.  We are proof that when a community comes together, anything is possible.

 

This is more than charity. This is community in action.
